Silvia Espín
Graduated in Audiovisual Communication from UPF and trained as a screenwriter at Showrunners Bcn and the Showrunners ESCAC-Mediaset master's degree, she has developed her career as a screenwriter and producer specialized in horror and fantasy fiction for adolescent and millennial audiences.
She has worked as a screenwriter for production companies such as Youplanet Pictures, El Terrat and Alesa Produccions, and as an editorial analyst at Mediaset, combining this with the creation of her own projects recognized at festivals and competitions such as Sitges, VLC Pitch or the Torino Film Lab, and distinguished with grants such as the GAC, Vivabook and Barcelona Crea. She is a playwright and director of the Cia. Maldito Espejo and secretary of Guionistes Associats de Catalunya.
Javier Rueda
Producer, director, essayist and cultural manager. With over a hundred works produced, including various fiction and documentary feature films. Co-author and coordinator of books and film essay publications. Panelist and moderator in talks on filmmaking and the audiovisual industry. Advisor for audiovisual projects in development, freelance and in official commissions. Curator and programmer at different festivals, as well as coordinator of industry activities. Co-founder of a cooperative cinema. Co-creator of international audiovisual awareness projects. Collaborator and mentor in audiovisual projects for teenagers. Assembly member in different civil spaces for political deliberation and cultural action.
Josemi Beltrán
Journalist and cultural manager.
Since 2011, he has been head of the Cinema Unit of Donostia Kultura, which involves, among other responsibilities, the direction of the Human Rights Film Festival and the Fantasy and Horror Film Week, both in the city of San Sebastian.
He has participated as a jury member in numerous competitions and calls for audiovisual projects. He was head of the Cortada festival in Vitoria, and programmer at the Basque Film Week or the NEff Festival, among others.
